Gut Feelings is moving-image project investigating the history of queerness and feminised genders in 19th Century Iran. By utitilasing visual cultures of the Qajar era and incorporating new technologies such as 3D animation, GIFs and AI, it attempts to break the barriers between history and digital internet cultures, and provide new ways of accessing queer archives.

Gut Feelings was kindly supported by Trinity Square Video’s
Archival Affections Residency in  2021, Torotnto.
